APGA ONITSHA NORTH LGA CHAIRMAN HOSTS FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR WITH WARD LEADERS

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Onitsha North LGA, under the leadership of Chief Okwy Maduekwe has held its first caucus meeting of the year. The meeting brought together ward chairmen from all 15 political wards in the LGA.  

Described as a family-oriented gathering, the meeting served as an opportunity to reflect on strategies to strengthen grassroots support as APGA continues to grow stronger within the local government area.  

During the session, Chief Maduekwe extended a warm welcome to Chief Chukwudi Okeakpu, his close friend and the newest member of the APGA family.  

The chairman also highlighted his achievements since assuming office, emphasizing the transformation of the Onitsha North APGA Secretariat into a hub for skill acquisition. 

He shared how the party has trained youths in areas such as fashion design, computer skills, ICT, and web design, with many being linked to the state’s “1Youth, 2 Skills” initiative by the Ministry of Youth Development.  

The Ward leaders presented report on their activities, and the meeting ended on a high note with a renewed commitment to building a stronger APGA presence in Onitsha North.  

The party’s progress at the grassroots level continues to position APGA as a formidable force in the region.
