Awka, Jan. 24, 2021 (MOI) Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has announced a commencement of online processing of transcripts and other vital documents.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs Philomena Iwara Okoye, a lawyer, on Jan. 22.
“This is in line with the university’s effort to make its operations more efficient.
“I am delighted to inform you that the university shall no longer require the physical presence of applicants to process the document,’’ it stressed.
The statement, then, listed other documents to be processed online to include Statement of Result, Attestation, Proof of English Language as a Medium of Instruction and Certificate Verification.
It adds that the online applications for any of the documents would commence on Jan. 25, via its website: “http://records.unizik.edu.ng’’.
In reaction, some graduates and students of the institution have hailed this as a welcome development, and heaving a sigh of relief over the news.
“This is good news for graduates of UNIZIK. We have long been expecting this,’’ said Chigozie Ezeani, Managing Director, Gozetth Paints. Stella Obi, a first-year student of Accountancy also said: “this will benefit all, especially those in The Diaspora and particularly during this COVID-19 pandemic’’. (MOI)
