Awka, Dec. 3, 2020 (MOI) Anambra State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr (Mrs) Uju Nwogu, has described the former Director, Administrator General and Public Trustee, Mrs Rita Onyeka, as a mother of impeccable character.
Nwogu made the comment at the Udoji Secretariat Complex during a send-off party organised in honour of Mrs Onyeka, who recently retired from the state civil service.
The Attorney-General expressed her appreciation to the retired staff member, Mrs Onyeka whom she described as a God-fearing woman, who always performed her duties justly and diligently while in service.
“She protected the interests of Justice, notwithstanding the pressures and challenges she encountered in the discharge of her duties,’’ Nwogu said.
Nwogu prayed to God to elevate the retiree to a higher and better place as she had retired honorably without blemish to her reputation.
Mr Nwangwu, the chairman of Lawyers Officers Association (LOAN), said that Mrs Onyeka was a woman of substance, cheerful, caring, elegant, humble and resilient. Mrs Onyeka for whom the party was organised expressed her gratitude to the staff members of the Ministry for honouring her. (MOI)
