LAWMAKER CALLS FOR SPEEDY REHABILITATION OF AGULUEZECHUKWU-NDIOKPALAEZE-AJALLI ROAD

Ndiokpaleze (Orumba North LGA), May 18, 2018 (MOI) Member representing Orumba North constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly Mr Romanus Obi has called for rehabilitation of the bad portion of the Aguluezechukwu-Ogboji-Ndiokpalaeze-Ajalli road.
Obi told newsmen that the deplorable condition of the bad portion of the road require urgent attention.
He cautioned that if urgent steps were not taken to arrest the situation, the road could be cut off, to the detriment of the three local government areas -- Aguata, Orumba North and Orumba South.
``The early fixing of the road will not only save money for the state government but will reduce frequency of accidents on the road,” Obi said
He, then, appealed to Gov. Willie Obiano not to allow the road completed by the Niger Cat Construction Company in 2013 with good asphalting to become impassable.
The chairman of Oteku Village, Okpeze, Orumba North LGA, Mr. Ben Nwafor, called on governor to rehabilitate the Awgbu - Ndiukwuenu-Ufuma-Okpeze road.
