OUTGOING HEALTH COMMISSIONER BAGS INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA

Awka, June12, 2019 (MOI) Outgoing Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr Joe Akabuike, has received an International Diploma in Health System management from Galilee Management Institute, Israel.
Akabuike was issued the certificate in Israel after a 2-week course on Health System Management.
The commissioner made this known at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka, during interactive session with information officer attached to his ministry.
According to Akabuike, Galilee Management Institute is committed to attaining excellence through diversity.
He said that participants were valued for bringing balanced perspectives with their skills and strengths for their programmes.
``Understanding and embracing the diversity of participants from different origins and ideologies brings an important element to the college.
``Galilee International Management Institute is gifted with an experienced workforce equipped with cultural skills, helping to maintain excellence through diversity.
``The Institute provides an environment free from discrimination and harassment.’’
Akabuike adds: ``The institute believes in the words of Franks Baron’s `never take a person's dignity’. It is worth everything to him or her and nothing to you’’.
25 countries sent in participants to the course.
Akabuike's performance was adjudged outstanding and he was nominated to give a farewell address.
He used the interactive session to thank Gov.
Willie Obiano for him supporting through the course. (MOI)
