Ogbaru, March 10, 2019 (MOI)
The Transition Committee Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government Area (LGA), Mr Arinzechukwu Awogu said that prudent management of scarce resources has enabled him do more with less in line with the vision of Gov. Willie Obiano's.
Awogu said this during a foundation-laying stone of a storey building at LGA headquarters, Atani in company of Rev. fr. John Ugobueze and appointees of government.
In a speech said, he that the structure was designed to decongest offices at the secretariat and would be completed in three months.
``We have in 10 months saved enough money for the LGA.
``We jettisoned frivolities and wasteful spending, which helps us to save for such capital projects and other interventions that are unheard in the LG,’’ he said.
``The structure itself is signifying a leap in my determination to develop the council and a demonstration of service to humanity.
