Anaku, Feb. 10, 2018,-- Ayamelum Local Government Area (LGA) workers have been urged to visit Future Glanvills Pensions Ltd., Awka to complete various stages of their e-registration.

The National Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) Chairman, Ayamelum chapter, Mr Patrick Ononye made the call during the worker’s monthly meeting at the council secretariat, Anaku.

The exercise, he said, would include data capturing and opening of e-mail accounts and enjoined workers, yet to complete the exercise to do so.

The chairman reminded the workers that e-registration will begin on the Feb 14.

He urged them to visit their various departments to complete their e-mail forms, to help them to open functional accounts for future correspondence.

The Head of Service (HOS), Ayamelum council, Mr Jeff Modume recalled that the council lost documents in the stores department because of fire incident engulfed the unit.

He, then, called on the staff to return all certificates and receipts in their care to the office as new structure would soon be erected.

Modume, then, re-assured them that plans had been put in motion by government to provide Ayamelum with a bus to reduce transportation difficulties faced by workers.

He, however, urged workers to always protect government property in their care, as well as uphold discipline at all times.

``You can only make yourself relevant by doing your job,” Modume added.
