ARCHBISHOP OKPALA BURIES MOTHER- IN -LAW

Anaocha, April 23, 2018 -- The remains of Late Ezinne Eunice Eziuzo, mother-in-law of the Anglican Archbishop of the Province of the Niger and Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, His Grace The Most Rev. Prof. Godwin Okpala has been laid to rest in her country home in Obe village, Adazi-enu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state.
In his sermon during the burial service, a grandson of the deceased Rev. Chibuzo Okpala extolled the exemplary life style of the Late Ezinne Eunice and urged the people to emulate her Christian faith.
He described her as a resilient and hard-working woman who overcame a lot of obstacles and accomplished a lot even as a single parent after grand papa’s death, and urged all women to live like Ezinne Eunice Eziuzo.
The Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr. Nkem Okeke who was at the burial, condoled with the Archbishop and appreciated the Archbishops, Bishop's and host of clergymen, who attended the burial service.
Nkem Okeke assured that some roads which were inaugurated are being constructed in the state.
The Rt. Rev. Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, the Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, appreciated those who came to commiserate with the Diocese and pray that God will accept the soul of the departed.
