Adazi-Enu (Anaocha LGA), May 24, 2019 (MOI) Anglican Women Organisation, Immanuel Church Parish, Adazi-Enu has donated items worth thousands of naira to deaf and dumb inmates of God's Care Foundation School, Awka.

The items including tubers of yam, bag of garri, bag of rice and bag of detergent were received by Director of the School, Miss Ebele Okafor.

The director, while receiving the items commended the team of Anglican women led by the wife of the priest, Mrs Chinelo Okeke.

She commended the Vice-President of the association and Vicar’s wife, Mrs Nkiru Ofili for what said was `a wonderful gesture’ saying: ``this is the second time the Anglican women are visiting this school with such items.

The director thanked the initiator of the visit. ``God will continue to bless the women and the Church for this special visit. I wish you will continue to remember us.’’

Miss Okafor noted that the children were learning gradually as imparting knowledge in them was not easy, but needed patience and tolerance.

While speaking on the type of students in the school, she said that some were mentally deformed while some were imbecile.

Mrs Okeke who led the team commended the teachers for their effort in bringing out the best in the children.

She urged the students to always pay attention to the teachers in order to come out better persons.

The leader, then, prayed for God’s grace upon the staff of the school while enjoining them to continue in their good work as God would repay them.
