ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT FLAGS INNOSON ROAD, UMUDIM

Anambra State Government has flagged off the reconstruction of a road leading to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Uru-Umudim Nnewi.
The 3 kilometer Innoson Drive, is of economic importance to the state and will be completed in three months.
The Governor while performing the flag-off ceremony noted that the road development would be in line with his electoral promises to Ndi Anambra.
He, then, pledged that more roads would be constructed and inaugurated under the present administration.
The Governor was represented by his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke.
Gov. Willie Obiano explained that the outcome of the election would guarantee peace and progress in the state.
Earlier, the CEO Gabros Nigeria Ltd., Chief Gabriel Chukwuma thanked the Governor for the gesture, saying that the people of Nnewi were pleased with many ongoing infrastructure developments.
The project was being handled by an indigene of the town, saying it would produce quality outcome.
Chief Chukwuma, then, pledged the support for APGA led-government under Gov. Obiano.
The Contractor, Mr Bobby Okwuosa of Fancee Construction Company while commending Obiano's developmental strides, disclosed that construction would begin on March 11, as all necessary fees had been paid.
He pledged to deliver within the stipulated three months time-frame stating that two other ongoing road projects being handled by his company were near completion stages.
The roads are Ahazu road (5 kilometers) and Cutis Drive road
(1.5 kilometers). (MOI)
