OBIANO URGES CORPS MEMBERS TO COMPLEMENT GOVERNMENT EFFORTS IN DISCHARGE OF DUTIES

Awka, May 14, 2018 (MOI) Gov. Willie Obiano has tasked the 2018 Batch A, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to approach the rural populace with open minds and complement government's efforts with their talents.
This he said would enable them to leave indelible marks at the end of their service year.
The governor said this during the closing ceremony of orientation course at Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area (LGA).
Gov. Obiano, represented by the Commissioner for Youths Empowerment and Creative Economy, Mr Bonaventure Enemali, tasked the corps members to utilise their intellect and energy to the service of their fatherland.
He, however, assured them of a friendly and conducive atmosphere during their service year to the state.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Ebenezer Olusegun, appealed to the governor for speedy completion of NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Umuawulu, Mbaukwu to enhance the welfare of corps members.
Some of the Corps members expressed their readiness to contribute meaningfully to the overall well-being of the state and their host communities in particular.
