Awka, May 2, 2018 (MOI) Newly appointed Managing Director, Anambra State Traffic Management Agency (ATMA), Mr Chris Uzoechina says he plans to reposition the agency for efficient service delivery.

Uzoechina said this during a meeting with the Zonal Commanders at ATMA base at Agu Awka.

The MD assured them that he was going to take responsibility for ATMA affairs to ensure that good values would be added to their duties as well as creating positive change in the agency.

``Discipline and chain of commands will be instituted among the officers to be established, so as to respect hierarchy and to ensure that due processes are strictly observed at the work place,” Uzoechina stressed.

He, however, promised to run an open door policy and to ensure that their salaries were paid as an when due as obtainable in the civil service.

The state Commandant ATMA, Mr Chidi Umezinwa on behalf of the officers thanked the MD for his efforts to meet with them.

He promised to tackle the challenges affecting their work, especially over the non-payment of their salaries.

Umezinwa pledged to work with the MD to lift the agency to enviable heights. (MOI)
