Awka, April 25, 2018 -- The
Commissioner, Ministry of Indigenous Artwork, Diaspora Affairs, Culture and
Tourism, Mrs Sally Mbanefo has said she will use Arts in bringing the South East
and South West together to form an art club noting that creativity brings unity.
Mrs Mbanefo said this during the 2018
International Sculpture Day celebration in Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka
which was organized by the President and Founder of Awka Guild of Sculptors,
Prof. Cliff Nwanna, a Professor of Fine and applied Arts UNIZIK.
The Commissioner while addressing the
participants said that the celebration is an avenue to discover and harvest
young talented artists noting that Anambra state has a lot of them to be
