Oroma-Etiti, April 30, 2018 -- The Transitional Committee Chairman Anambra West Local Government Area, Mr Tony Collins Nwabunwanne has promised equal opportunity to new APGA members in Oroma-Etiti.
Mr Nwabunwanne said this while welcoming new defectors from other parties to APGA in Oroma-Etiti, Anam.
The defectors include Mr Aniagor Okonkwo Ateli, Mr Uchenna Egwuatu, Mr Aniagboso Okonkwo and Mr Onyekwelu Okuo alongside their supporters.
Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Mr Ateli explained that they were not political novices, as they had been playing active political roles in their former parties.
However, Mr Ateli added that the decorum and cordial relationship among AGPA members in Oroma-Etiti, Anambra West and the entire state convinced them to join APGA.
The defectors commended Mr Nwabunwanne for his efforts in the party, describing him as a good grassroots oriented leader.
Nwabunwanne urged the defectors and the old members to be good ambassadors of APGA as this would encourage others to join the party.
``APGA is the moving train. Those yet to join, should do so immediately so as to ensure more dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra,” he added.
The defectors were
decorated with APGA regalia by the chairman, Nwabunwanne.
