In separate addresses, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, O.C.J. Ezechukwu, APGA chairman, Aguata LGA, Mr Ikem Uzoezie, said Aguata people had never voted for any other party, other than APGA in previous elections and that Nov 18 election would not be an exception.
Prof Soludo re-assured Obiano that Aguata would not abandon him, not only because he was their adopted son, `Agunaechemba’ of Old Aguata Union, but also because he had done very well in providing dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra.
A former National Chairman of APGA Chief Victor Umeh called on people to embark on `house to house’ campaign in favour of APGA.
He added that the people should come out and vote on the day of the election and urged the youths to stay back at polling units after casting their votes to protect their votes.
Present at the occasion were the Traditional Rulers of Aguata, Presidents-General of Aguata, Teachers, National Union of Local Government Workers (NULGE), pupils, APGA members and others.
