Anambra State Physical Planning Board

Anambra State Physical Planning Board (ANSPPB) was a creation of law No. 9 2013, and the 10-Member Board was inaugurated on 23rd September, 2015 by His Excellency. The de-facto law gave leverage to physical planning in order to re-order asymmetrical objects into a symmetrical harmony, for the convivial liveability of the citizenry.

His Excellency has graciously provided to the Board seven (7) Hilux 4×4 vehicles to facilitate development control and related activities. This has gone a long way to strengthen the efficiency and capability of the Board in reaching out the nook and cranny of the State vis-a-vis IGR accretion.

Provision of bags of rice to the staff of ANSPPB during the Christmas AND Auditing of Unity Layouts, Nkpor and Nnewi to ascertain the actual allottees, to ignite off development that would boost IGR.

ANSPPB has been empowered to clear Street trading, especially at Eke Awka, Zik’s Avenue and Arthur Eze Avenue axis. The enthusiastic staff of the Board participated gracefully in the exercise.

Opening of Trans Nkisi Phases I, II, and III to avail the citizenry the opportunity to own their own houses.
The salary and allowances of the staff of the ANSPPB are being paid as and when due.

In conclusion, the giant stride achieved by His Excellency within those two years, is a pathfinder to laudable things to come in future.
